A Tottenham Hotspur XI have suffered a 3-2 defeat to Peterborough United in their pre-season friendly at London Road Stadium.
The home side made the breakthrough with around half an hour played when Joe Gormley converted with a low finish from Michael Smith's cross.
Peterborough then extended their advantage just a few minutes into the second half as Conor Washington pounced from close range to squeeze the ball into the net.
Spurs pulled one back through Shayon Harrison's drive with just over half an hour left, and they managed to draw level with nine minutes remaining as Ismail Azzaoui capitalised on some slack defending before scoring.
However, Peterborough had the final say as Kyle Vassell earned them the win in the final stages with a left-footed strike that went in off the post.
