Tuesday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Ronald Koeman 'makes decision over Philippe Coutinho's Barcelona future'
Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen to keep Philippe Coutinho at the club this summer.
The Brazil international has struggled to make his mark for the Catalan giants since arriving in a big-money move from Liverpool in January 2018.
The 28-year-old has been in good form for Bayern Munich during the 2019-20 campaign, though, scoring 11 times and registering nine assists in 37 appearances for his loan club.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a permanent move away from Camp Nou, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, have been mentioned as possible suitors.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Koeman is an admirer of the South American and is convinced that he can get the best out of the attacker next season.
The new Barca boss will allegedly meet with the playmaker in the aftermath of the Champions League final in the hope of convincing him to remain in Spain.
Coutinho's existing deal with the Catalan giants still has three years left to run.
Wolverhampton Wanderers 'closing in on Ainsley Maitland-Niles deal'
Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Despite playing a crucial part in Arsenal's FA Cup run at the end of the season, club officials are ready to cash in on the versatile academy graduate for the right price.
While Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with the 22-year-old, the Evening Standard says that Wolves are expected to win the race for his signature.
The report suggests that Maitland-Niles is happy to make the switch to Molineux, where he is likely to be used at wing-back due to the long-term knee injury suffered by Jonny.
Although a fee is yet to be agreed, it is suggested that Wolves will need to pay £20m plus add-ons to get a deal over the line.
Maitland-Niles has made a total of 100 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
