West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made a £15m bid for Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kevin Wimmer.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis is thought to be in the market for a new defender this summer and has so far been left frustrated following a reported interest in Middlesbrough's Ben Gibson.
According to The Telegraph, Pulis may have now made a breakthrough as the newspaper claims that talks for a deal that would see Wimmer move to The Hawthorns are at an advanced stage.
The same report also states that the deal may be reached in time for Wimmer to be available for the Baggies next week, as part of a move that could see West Brom pay as much as £20m for the 24-year-old following instalments.
Both Stoke City and Crystal Palace have also been noted as holding an interest in Austrian international Wimmer.
