The agent of Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has talked up the possibility of a move to Real Madrid by claiming that it would be an "honour" if they were interested in his client.
The Welsh international was in scintillating form for the North London outfit last season and cleaned up a vast amount of the individual awards on offer, including a PFA double.
His performances have resulted in him being linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, and agent Jonathan Barnett admits that he would love the attention from the Spanish giants.
"If Florentino [Perez, Real president] is interested in Gareth Bale, then that would be an honour and we would listen, but his contract is with Tottenham," Barnett told Marca.
"But we are not free to talk to anyone."
Bale scored 26 goals in 44 appearances for Spurs last season.
