Barcelona have rejected the chance to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
The Spanish champions have recently been linked with a move for the Frenchman, and a report claimed that Quique Setien's side had offered Samuel Umtiti and Nelson Semedo as makeweights in a possible deal.
However, Balague has claimed that Ndombele was actually offered to the Catalan giants, who turned down the opportunity to submit an offer for the 23-year-old.
The Spanish journalist also insisted that there was no interest from Jose Mourinho's side in Brazilian midfielder Arthur.
"In terms of Arthur, let me tell you that it's not true that Spurs want him," Balague said on his official YouTube channel. "That's not true. It's been put out there. Talking about Spurs, Ndombele has been offered to Barcelona, they said no to him. But Arthur was not wanted by Spurs."
Ndombele, who joined Spurs in a club-record deal last summer, has scored just twice in 27 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
