Nabil Bentaleb is reportedly holding talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a new contract at White Hart Lane, which is likely to see him double his current salary.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who has recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty with Algeria, has broken into the Spurs ranks over the past 12 months to become a key component under the tenure of first Tim Sherwood and now Mauricio Pochettino.
A report in the London Evening Standard suggests that Bentaleb could now pen a new deal to keep him at the club beyond the end of his current terms which expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Fellow youngsters Harry Kane and Ryan Mason also committed to Tottenham earlier this year by putting pen to paper.
