Inter Milan have reportedly started preliminary negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over the possibility of signing French midfielder Etienne Capoue.
The Italian club are believed to be eager to bring Capoue to the San Siro as they look to add to their options ahead of next season.
Capoue has found it difficult to hold down a regular spot in the Spurs side since joining the club from Toulouse last summer.
Inter reportedly made a bid for the 25-year-old in January before being priced out of a deal, but the club's sporting director Piero Ausilio has flown to London in an attempt to resume talks with Tottenham, according to The Mirror.
Spurs are rumoured to be eager to recoup most of the £9m they paid to secure Capoue's services.
