Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker has signed a new long-term contract with the club, committing his future to White Hart Lane until 2016.
Caulker had a successful loan spell last season at Swansea where he played 26 times, and Tottenham have now announced that they are keeping the defender at the club for another four years.
A club statement said: "We are delighted to announce that Steven Caulker has signed a new contract with the club until 2016."
Caulker said in May that he would like to return to Swansea on loan next season if the opportunity arose. He has also been included in Stuart Pearce's Team GB Olympic squad.
