DeAndre Yedlin has refused to rule out a permanent return to Sunderland.
The right-back spent last season on loan at the Stadium of Light, where he made 21 starts.
With his Tottenham Hotspur future believed to be in doubt, Yedlin was positive when asked about another stint on Wearside.
"It's definitely a door I would not close. I would not mind going back [to Sunderland]. I had a great time there," he told Goal.com.
"I'm keeping all doors open, I don't want to shut any right now. Any opportunity that is offered to me is a big opportunity. When you're dealing with the Premier League, it's still unbelievable to think that I'm playing in the Premier League."
The 22-year-old has made just one senior appearance for Spurs since his arrival from the Seattle Sounders in 2014.
