Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a move for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder following reports that a proposed move for Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Luka Modric has cooled.
The Spanish giants have been expected to sign the 26-year-old midfielder, who has been open about his desire to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
Despite both parties being keen to finalise a transfer, it is understood that a fee is struggling to be agreed, which has prompted Madrid to consider a move for Sneijder, according to talkSPORT.
The Dutchman previously worked with Madrid boss Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese coach's time at Inter.
