West Bromwich Albion have announced the club-record signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli on a four-year contract.
On Sunday, it had been reported that the Baggies had agreed a fee for the Belgian international, who had slipped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
The West Midlands club have now confirmed that the 27-year-old has completed his move to The Hawthorns, and head coach Tony Pulis is delighted to have strengthened his squad ahead of the closure of the transfer window on Wednesday.
He told the club's official website: "He's a top, top player and I'm delighted we've got him.
"I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that."
It has previously been reported that West Brom are looking to add as many as five new players to their squad over the next 48 hours.
