Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly made contact with his former club Tottenham Hotspur regarding the availability of four of their players.
Earlier today it was revealed that young midfielder Tom Carroll was close to sealing a loan switch to Loftus Road.
However, Redknapp has also identified that his goalscoring options are in need of bolstering, which has resulted in him making an approach for both Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor, according to Sky Sports News.
While the R's would not be able to afford to fund a move for both players, they could potentially sign one of them.
Full-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto, who has lost his place in the Spurs starting lineup to Danny Rose, is also believed to be on Redknapp's radar.
