Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring any developments with the future of River Plate winger Julian Alvarez.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation in Argentina's top flight this season, contributing 15 goals and five assists from just 16 appearances.
Alvarez has also established himself as a member of his national team squad, recognition which has led to interest from several European clubs.
At a time when the likes of Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan are said to be keen on the attacker's signature, Marca claims that Real could soon get involved in the race for his signature.
Alvarez is no stranger to Los Blancos having spent a brief time training with the club's academy as a teenager.
The player's release clause is said to stand at approximately £21m, while his contract runs until the end of 2022.
