Tottenham Hotspur have tabled an improved bid for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish, according to a report.
The Lilywhites have already fallen short with one offer, which Villa boss Steve Bruce revealed was "nowhere near" the Championship outfit's valuation.
Bruce did admit after Monday's 3-1 win at Hull City that the Villans would struggle to keep the 22-year-old if Spurs made another approach, however, and Sky Sports News suggests that £25m has now been placed on the table.
Villa are pondering the bid ahead of Thursday evening's transfer deadline, it is claimed, with Tottenham unlikely to go any higher.
Grealish, who played 83 minutes of the win at the KCOM Stadium, has two years left to run on his Villa Park contract.
