Stoke City are reportedly close to sealing a £6m move for out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon.
Earlier on deadline day it was reported that the Potters had joined Hull City in the race to sign the 27-year-old.
However, Stoke boss Mark Hughes is said to have agreed a deal to sign him a number of weeks ago, before putting it on the long finger.
Nevertheless, Hull's reported presence has forced Hughes to revive his interest and he will seal the switch before tonight's 11pm deadline, according to The Mirror.
On Sunday, Lennon, who has started just three Premier League games this season, was reported to have pulled out of a move to the KC Stadium.
