Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose has reportedly emerged as a transfer target of new Stoke City manager Mark Hughes.
The England Under-21 international has returned to White Hart Lane following a season-long stint with Sunderland, where he is thought to have caught the eye of numerous bosses.
One of those is Hughes, who is keen to recruit a left-back before the new campaign gets underway, according to The Mirror.
It is believed that Spurs would demand around £6m for the 22-year-old, who joined them from Leeds United in 2007.
Sunderland are also said to be monitoring the defender's situation.
