Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has insisted that the club have not received any bids from Premier League outfits Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for Alvaro Negredo.
The striker has been heavily linked with the former Premier League champions, with some reports claiming that the club were already holding talks over a possible transfer.
While City have been touted as favourites for the frontman's signature, league rivals Tottenham are also said to be keen on his services.
"Sevilla have an asking price for Negredo and if they aren't met, he will play for Sevilla next season," PA Sport quotes Del Nido as saying. "Tomorrow he will sleep in Seville and then he will start training with the team again. There have been no offers from English football, not from City, not from Tottenham."
Reports have claimed that City are prepared to pay £24m for the striker.
