Atletico Madrid have reportedly rejected a £23m bid from Tottenham Hotspur for their striker Jackson Martinez.
The Colombia international joined Atletico from Porto in the summer, but he has so far struggled to establish himself at the Vicente Calderon.
Martinez has started just eight La Liga matches this term, with a further six appearances coming from the bench.
Nevertheless, the 29-year-old's failure to produce the goods in the Spanish capital has not put off Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino, according to Marca.
However, the report adds that Tottenham's offer was rebuffed and due to the fact that Atletico were recently slapped with a transfer ban, it is unlikely that Martinez will be sold.
The frontman has found the net on three occasions in Atletico's colours.
