Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar from Inter Milan on a free transfer.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas would like to bring Cesar in as competition for Brad Friedel after failing to secure a deal for Lyon stopper Hugo Lloris, according to The Sun.
Cesar is not part of Inter manager Andrea Stramaccioni's plans at the San Siro, with the Italian giants desperate to get the keeper off the wage bill.
Inter are prepared to let Cesar leave Italy for nothing but a number of clubs have been put off by the Brazilian's wage demands, which put an end to a move back home with Palmeiras last month.
