Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected AC Milan's first formal offer for defender Serge Aurier.
Over the past 24 hours, Spurs have been heavily linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Matt Doherty, whom they are expected to sign in the coming days.
With Aurier having struggled for consistency since his arrival in 2017, the latest developments have naturally resulted in speculation regarding his future.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Spurs are not prepared to accept a cut-price fee for the Ivory Coast international.
The report claims that the Premier League giants have rejected Milan's opening bid, said to be significantly short of their valuation of the 27-year-old.
Aurier contributed two goals and five assists from 38 appearances in the Premier League and Champions League last season.
