Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly completed a £15m deal to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Matt Doherty.
Jose Mourinho is understood to have identified the 28-year-old as a top target when looking for replacements for Serge Aurier, whose future in North London has been questioned in recent weeks.
Doherty had spent the last 10 years with Wolves, helping them to win promotion from League One all the way to the Premier League, but the Daily Mail reports that he is now on the brink of joining Spurs.
Official confirmation of the transfer, which is worth an initial £15m plus add-ons, is expected in the near future.
The Republic of Ireland international will become Tottenham's third signing of the summer after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart, and his arrival is expected to pave the way for Aurier to leave.
Doherty scored seven goals in 50 appearances for Wolves last season and leaves the club with more than 300 first-team outings to his name.
