Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to offer duo Michael Dawson and Lewis Holtby to Aston Villa in return for Ron Vlaar.
The Villa defender, who impressed throughout the Netherlands' World Cup campaign, has been linked with a move to numerous clubs this summer, including Manchester United and Southampton.
Vlaar could be on his way to White Hart Lane, however, with The Mirror reporting that Spurs are preparing an all-out assault to sign the 29-year-old.
Chairman Daniel Levy would also be willing to exchange Dawson for Vlaar with the addition of a cash sum, the same article claims.
Dawson joined Tottenham in 2005, while Holtby made the move from Schalke to North London last year.
