Tottenham Hotspur and Everton could reportedly go head-to-head for the signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Conor Coady during this summer's transfer window.
The 28-year-old has allegedly been identified by incoming Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo as an ideal acquisition for the North London club.
Coady's strong relationship with his former manager has seemingly placed Spurs in a strong position to sign the England international, but according to Football Insider, Everton are also in the hunt for his signature.
The report claims that Nuno mentioned the former Liverpool youngster as a leading target when he discussed the capital team's plans for this summer's transfer window.
However, Tottenham are expecting strong competition from Everton, who are set to back new head coach Rafael Benitez with transfer funds ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Coady, who still has four years left to run on his contract at Molineux, has made 275 appearances for Wolves since joining the club from Huddersfield Town in 2015.
