Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas believes that Danny Rose can have an important role to play for the club next season.
The left-back spent the last campaign on loan at Sunderland, but the Portuguese coach feels that Rose is now ready to play a bigger part at White Hart Lane next term.
"[The loan] was one of those occasions where it's all worked out extremely well for him and he will definitely be part of our squad this season," Villas-Boas told reporters.
"Credit to him for making it work. This year he'll want to be involved with Tottenham and hopefully he'll have a big future ahead of him.
"Danny has had an excellent season. He's one of the players that we all want for our future."
Rose has also previously spent time on loan with Bristol City in the 2010-11 campaign.
