Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen believes that Peter Crouch has proved himself enough this season to warrant a spot in the England squad for the European Championships.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker, who has not played for the Three Lions since November 2010, has had an impressive start to his Potters career, netting five goals in his last nine appearances.
"Crouchy will hopefully go with England," Sorensen told BBC Sport. "I can only say he has done so, so well for us.
"If that's not enough to get in the England team, the manager there will decide. But I definitely feel he needs a chance."
The England squad for this summer's tournament is expected to be announced on May 13.
