Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed that Bojan should be ready to return at the start of next term after injury cut short a promising maiden season in England.
The ex-Barcelona ace looked to be enjoying a successful transition to English football until suffering cruciate ligament damage in an FA Cup tie at Rochdale back in January.
"He is progressing really well and we are hopeful, all being well, of having him available to us ready for the new season," Hughes told reporters.
"We are hoping that he will be here on Sunday, giving his thanks to the fans for the support he has received from them.
"It's a case of what might have been maybe if we'd had him all year but other players have stepped up to fill in."
Bojan, 24, had scored in four of the eight games leading up to his injury - including against Rochdale.
