Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has confirmed that he underwent successful surgery to repair a groin problem.
Mark Hughes previously suggested that the injury was preventing him from picking Crouch on a regular basis, and the 34-year-old did not start a match in the final two months of the season.
Crouch finished the campaign with nine goals in all competitions.
