Stoke City winger Marko Arnautovic has said that the performance of Xherdan Shaqiri was key as the Potters beat Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium.
Shaqiri provided both assists as Arnautovic netted a double against the Premier League leaders, but the match-winner was keen to praise his teammate after his side impressed on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old told BT Sport: "The coach gave us some things that we had to use in the game and we did very well. Without the passes from Shaqiri today, I would not have scored. He was brilliant.
Stoke's win has seen the club move into the top 10 of the Premier League standings ahead of the remainder of Saturday's fixtures.
