Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed that Asmir Begovic is doubtful for Saturday's Premier League trip to Hull City.
The Bosnian international suffered a thigh injury during training on Tuesday, putting Thomas Sorensen on standby for his first league appearance since May 2012.
"Asmir is the big worry for us at the moment," Hughes told the club's official website. "We need to nurse him and then assess him tomorrow to see where he is at.
"It is a bit of a concern as he has been outstanding for us this year, but we will see what happens over the course of the next 24 hours.
"If Asmir isn't ready then I will have no qualms in throwing Thomas into the team. He is a top keeper in his own right who has an abundance of experience behind him."
The Potters are 13th in the league following last weekend's 3-2 win over Chelsea.
