Geoff Cameron has revealed that Stoke City's confidence has been boosted by their recent form in the Premier League.

The Potters, who face Aston Villa this weekend, have lost just once in the last seven top-flight matches.

The striker told the club's website: "We are getting better all the time, and I think our performances and results recently show that.

"We always knew that this season was going to be one of ups and downs, but we are getting towards where we want to be now and we are starting to play the style of football that we feel will move us forward.

"Confidence is high right now, and we are hoping to produce another good performance this weekend against Villa and add three more points to our tally so far."

Stoke currently sit 11th in the Premier League table.
