Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has praised the team for their 'outstanding' performance during Sunday's 4-1 win at Aston Villa.
The Potters recorded only their second away victory of the season as they claimed the points at Villa Park.
The result was enough to see Mark Hughes's side climb up to 10th place in the Premier League table.
"It was pretty good, a very enjoyable away day and we haven't had too many of those," Coates is quoted as saying by The Sentinel.
"I've said before that we have played better away from home than results have indicated this season, but I still didn't think we were going to go and do that to Aston Villa.
"Obviously it was a great result, but it was the performance that stood out. There cannot have been any better."
Stoke are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they entertain Hull City.
