Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has claimed that his side "deserved to win" their game away at Newcastle United, which finished in a 1-1 draw.
Jack Colback opened the scoring for the Magpies midway through the second half, but the England veteran nodded home in the 90th minute to secure a point for the Potters.
Crouch told BBC Sport after the game: "I thought we controlled the game and deserved to win. It was a cruel blow when they scored as I thought we'd been on top.
"I was pleased to get the goal and the point was the least we deserved today."
The result keeps Stoke 10th in the Premier League table, two points above Newcastle.
