Stoke City midfielder Matthew Etherington has claimed that his side are a match for anyone at the Britannia Stadium after their 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 30-year-old scored both goals as the Trotters ended the North London club's recent winning run.
"We're a match for anyone at home. We don't make things easy for teams, long may that continue," Etherington told BBC Sport.
"Three wins in a row now in the league, if you put back-to-back wins together it'll push you up the table, we're delighted with that going into Christmas.
"Tottenham are a top side, we knew we'd be under a lot of pressure. It was about how we defended as a team and I thought we did that brilliantly. We ran ourselves into the ground and it was a great result."
The win has lifted the Potters up to eighth in the Premier League table.
