Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has praised his side, despite their 2-0 defeat against Chelsea this evening.
John Terry headed the Blues in front two minutes into the game, before a strike late on from Cesc Fabregas sealed the three points for the visitors.
"We were frustrated to concede so early on," he told Sky Sports News. "That's what you want to avoid. But to be honest I think we gave it a real go.
"We got on the ball, asked questions of them and we gave a good account of ourselves. We had to commit, the onus was on us to get back in the game.
"Before their second goal I thought we had them under pressure. All in all we've had a go against the team that many feel will win the league this season."
Stoke are currently 13th in the Premier League table.
