Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has said that he wasn't surprised by Charlie Adam's goal as the midfielder hit a stunning strike to beat Manchester United 2-1.
Adam netted the second after earlier hitting a deflected opener, and the Potters boss insists that he was not shocked by the quality of the strike.
"We're getting to the point that we're not surprised by Charlie's goals any more," Hughes told Sky Sports News.
"It dropped to him on the edge of the box and he has that capacity to [score like that]. You see him in training, he strikes it true and we know that if we get a chance he'll hit the target.
"He'll work the keeper and it was a great strike."
The win moves Stoke up to 11th in the Premier League.
