Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has praised the "superb" performance of his players during Saturday's 1-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Potters earned a narrow victory at the Britannia Stadium as Jonathan Walters's late penalty separated the teams.
The result has seen Stoke climb up to 12th place in the league table.
"We've had some superb results and some very, very good performances here at home, and today was just another one of those," Hughes told the club's official website.
"I thought the way that we went about our business was absolutely first class. From the very first minute until the last we showed more drive than Arsenal and a lot more intensity in our play too.
"As a consequence of that, we created by far the better opportunities in the game, and deservedly took the three points that were on offer."
Stoke return to action next Saturday when they travel to Norwich City in the league.
