Stoke centre-back Robert Huth has warned his teammates against becoming complacent following their strong start to the season.
Tony Pulis's side beat Liverpool last Saturday to remain unbeaten in the league, before making an impressive start to their Europa League campaign by earning a point away in Kiev.
However, Huth has urged his teammates to keep their feet on the ground as it is still early in the year.
"We have to make sure that we realise we haven't done anything yet," he told Sky Sports News.
"What is happening is great but we won't be getting carried away by it. It is still very early in the season.
"Let's see how it's going at Christmas and take it from there. A couple of defeats and you can be back down the table again so it's important for us to stay focused."
The Potters will look to continue their unbeaten run against Sunderland tomorrow at the Stadium of Light.
