Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has praised his side following their 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, describing the performance of his players as "excellent".
Goals from Charlie Adam, Steven N'Zonzi and Mame Biram Diouf fired the Potters to victory over 10-man Spurs, who now face an uphill battle to finish in the top five.
"We got the reward for a really good performance, we were excellent from start to finish and saw the game out quite comfortably," Hughes told BBC Sport.
"In recent weeks we have conceded the opening goal but today we got our noses in front and I felt we were really comfortable. It was a performance of a top 10 side. The quality of our play at times was exceptional."
The result took Stoke to 50 points, equalling their club record Premier League points haul with two games still to play.
