Michael Owen has revealed that he is yet to decide whether he will pursue a career in football management when he hangs up his boots in the summer.
The 33-year-old announced his decision to retire yesterday, but has insisted that he wants to remain within the game in some capacity.
"I want to stay in football," the Daily Star quotes Owen as saying. "My expertise is in football. There are a few options - management, the media and other bits and bobs.
"I don't know about management yet. I've done my first few badges. But it could be very stressful too and I haven't decided anything yet."
Owen, who netted 40 goals in 89 England appearances, played for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City, where he will finish his career.
