Jermaine Pennant has vowed to stay and fight for his place at Stoke City.
Doubts over the 29-year-old's future have surfaced recently, with Potters boss Tony Pulis apparently interested in Matt Jarvis and Matt Phillips.
However, the former Liverpool winger has said that it is his intention to see out his contract at the Britannia Stadium.
"I'd love to get a regular place at Stoke," said Pennant. "I've got another year on my contract. Hopefully next season I'll get that number seven shirt."
Pennant joined Stoke from Real Zaragoza in 2010.
