Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has backed Charlie Adam to rediscover the goalscoring form that he enjoyed during his time at Blackpool.
The 26-year-old midfielder found the net 12 times in 35 Premier League appearances for the Tangerines in the 2010-2011 season, but he has yet to score for the Potters in seven matches.
"I expect him to get goals and I think he will," said Pulis. "If anything, I think he's trying too hard. He's got to relax a little bit and enjoy his football a little bit more.
"He's a very enthusiastic lad and I think he is one of the reasons we have played a lot better this year - and a lot more expansive.
"We'll persevere with him because we believe in him. I'm sure he'll come good."
Stoke are currently the fifth-lowest scorers in England's top division, finding the net just eight times in nine matches.
