Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he was 'massively worried' over the health of defender Robert Huth following his admittance to hospital.
The 27-year-old was diagnosed with viral meningitis and is expected to make a recovery within the next two weeks.
"Obviously it was a massively worrying time for Robert, his family and everyone at the club," said Pulis. "I'm just relieved it's the less serious strand and not the serious strand which doesn't bear thinking about."
The former Germany international has been at the Britannia Stadium since 2009.
