Stoke City will have Jamaican striker Ricardo Fuller available for selection against Wigan Athletic this weekend.
The 32-year-old has missed his side's last three games because of a suspension for kicking Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
However, Stoke's assistant manager Dave Kemp expects that Fuller will now be "champing at the bit" to return to the squad.
"He's back in," Kemp told reporters. "Because you can't dwell on these things and it's time to move on.
"Like the rest of us, he would have been watching Saturday's game against Manchester City and would have loved to have been a part of that, so he should be champing at the bit.
"Obviously we were disappointed at the time about his sending off, but we've had three games since then and the players have done fantastically well."
Fuller joined the Potters in 2006 from Championship side Southampton.
