Steve Sidwell has revealed that he is excited about getting started at Stoke City after signing a two-year deal with the club.
The 31-year-old midfielder will officially join the Potters on a free transfer on July 1 when his contract expires with Fulham.
The move has seen Sidwell link up with manager Mark Hughes for a second time after the pair previously worked together at Craven Cottage.
"I'm really looking forward to the start of pre-season. I've had a holiday and feel really refreshed and ready for an exciting new phase of my career," he told the club's official website.
"I had three and a half years at Fulham and it's disappointing that my time with them ended on such a sour note with relegation, but joining Stoke is a new chapter and I'm really looking forward to the future."
Sidwell scored eight goals in 41 appearances for Fulham during the 2013-14 campaign.
