Stoke City have appointed former Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes as the club's new manager.
Hughes will replace Tony Pulis, whose seven-year tenure at the Britannia Stadium came to an end earlier this month.
The 49-year-old has been out of work since he was sacked as QPR manager in November, but his failure at Loftus Road has failed to deter Stoke in opting for the former Wales forward.
A statement on Hughes's arrival is due shortly, while the club are expected to hold a press conference to unveil the former Wales boss later this morning.
