The Football Association have allowed Stoke City extra time to consider appealing the sanction given to defender Robert Huth.
The centre-back was hit with a violent conduct charge following an off-the-ball incident with Philippe Senderos during Stoke's 1-0 defeat to the Cottagers on Saturday.
While the Premier League outfit were originally given until 6pm yesterday to respond to the charge, the governing body have announced that they have been given extra time to consider the sanction, according to Sky Sports News.
If the charge stands, Huth could miss matches against West Ham United, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.
