Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has said that the club are very keen to keep midfielder Steven N'Zonzi and hand him a new contract.
The Frenchman joined the Potters from Blackburn Rovers in 2012 and he is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance for the club next week against West Bromwich Albion.
N'Zonzi submitted transfer requests in the summers of 2013 and 2014, but Coates believes that he is now happy in the Midlands.
He told The Sentinel: "We will do everything to ensure he stays at the club. We are very keen to keep him and I think it's fair to say he is enjoying himself at the club.
"He is getting better and better in my opinion, and this season has been his best yet."
N'Zonzi has appeared in 99 of a possible 101 Premier League games for the Potters.
