Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has admitted that he is looking to bring in a number of new players before the transfer window closes.
Hughes feels that he needs to add an injection of speed to his squad before the September 2 deadline, but admitted that it is difficult to bring players in during a typically frenetic week before the end of the window.
The Welshman told reporters: "We need a few extra faces and possible a little bit more pace in the side than we have at the moment.
"So we will look for that type of player I would suggest. But a lot of other clubs and managers are looking at the same type of players, so it is not easy to get them over the line at the moment."
The Potters have so far added Erik Pieters and Marc Muniesa to their squad this summer.
