Stoke City have firmly rejected a £3m bid from Sevilla for midfielder Steven N'Zonzi, according to reports.
The Frenchman has one year left on his current deal and has reportedly told the management that he wants to join a better team, just weeks after winning the club's Player of the Year award.
The Telegraph reports that Stoke are still hopeful N'Zonzi will change his mind, but will sell him this summer rather than lose him for free next year if he doesn't.
However, the report claims that they have labelled Sevilla's £3m bid as "derisory", and will not consider any offers below £6m.
N'Zonzi joined the Potters from Blackburn Rovers in 2012, but has handed in transfer requests in each of the last two summers.
