Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has claimed that the Midlands club are determined to hold on to goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Bosnian keeper has 12 months left on his contract and has been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Coates insisted that keeping Begovic is a top priority, as well as securing the services of Vistor Moses, on loan from Chelsea, and midfielder Steven N'Zonzi.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Coates said: "There are some obvious things we want to do. We would like to extend Begovic's contract, Jack Butland recently signed a new deal which we're very pleased about.
"N'Zonzi is a big player for us, we would like to extend his contact. Moses is an interesting [situation] for us, would like to see how the land lies with that one."
Begovic and Stoke head to Chelsea on Saturday evening for their Premier League clash.
